This celebration, which is included in the Spring Fiestas held in Murcia, will allow you to enjoy the typical customs and traditions of the huerta.
With the celebration of the Bando de la Huerta on the first Tuesday after Easter, the big day of the Fiestas de Primavera also arrives. It consists of a parade of ox-drawn carts and huts from which the participants, known as ‘huertanos’, throw food to the spectators. After the floral offering to the Virgen de la Fuensanta, this parade begins through the streets of the city together with folklore groups.
